On establishing herself in Hollywood: “Twilight has given me something to skyrocket off of. But now that it’s ending, there’s so much work to be done. And if I don’t do it then Twilight‘s all I’m ever going to be known for, as great as it is.”

On her game plan post Twilight: “Basically I went from ‘dying to get a gig’ to dying to get the gig everyone wants. So now I’m in this realm with a lot of highly respected actresses, which is an amazing place to be, but also kind of terrifying.”

On why you won’t see her at nightclubs: “It’s all the glitz and glamour in Hollywood, and you want to be part of it. And the deadly thing is that you meet people who do have the money and do have fame and are in a position to not spend every waking moment working toward getting a job, and it’s easy to feel like you can do it too, when really you haven’t earned it. You can either socialize or you can study your script, and luckily I learned that pretty quick!”

On her youthful age of 17-years-old:
“I feel like I’ve lived a long time, but then I realize, ‘Oh, I’m actually only 17.’ I don’t think there should be an age limit on an interest, do you know what I mean?”

On not wanting attention outside of her acting:
“I just want to be an actress. I don’t really do anything attention-grabbing. Famous just sounds so pretentious. Who am I to call myself that word?”

On not letting talk about her physical appearance affect her:
“People are always talking about this person who looks great and that person who doesn’t. It’s there, if you let it in. I let it in to an extent. I just don’t let it affect the choices I make.”

On her younger sister Elle:
“She is incredibly free-spirited and totally wears her heart on her sleeve, you know exactly what she is thinking by taking one look at her. She’s just incredibly… I don’t know, I wish I could be more like her sometimes.”

On not comparing herself with her sister:
“We see ourselves as to completely different entities. I mean, we don’t even look alike.”

Robert Pattinson, Ashley Greene at 2012 People’s Choice

Taylor Lautner was nominated for Favorite Action Movie Star, but Hugh Jackman won that distinction. As it turned out, neither of those actors was present. Robert Pattinson and Ashley Greene from Twilight, however, were on hand to present and win awards. Robert Pattinson picked up the Waterford crystal trophy as a representative of Water for Elephants, which won Favorite Drama Movie. Ashley Greene presented the Drama Movie award with actor Zachary Levi to Mr. Pattinson. Robert Pattinson, missed out on Favorite Movie Actor, which went to Johnny Depp.
